New members are usually placed in B grade, but may apply to the grading committee before their first competition, to be placed in A grade. Such an application must be supported by 6 works in each section;

• 6 Colour Prints, 6 Monochrome Prints and 6 Projected Images, or
• APS or equivalent international honours.
