Dear Members
As we step into a new year, I would like to take a moment to say how much I am looking forward to 2026 with you all. It is a pleasure to be part of such a welcoming and creative photographic community and I am excited about what lies ahead for our club.
We are in the process of putting together another strong and inspiring program for the year, featuring a wonderful line-up of renowned photographers who will be joining us as judges and presenters. Their experience, insight and unique perspectives will provide plenty of inspiration, learning and
constructive feedback for photographers at every stage of their journey.
Alongside our competitions and educational sessions, we are also planning more social activities throughout the year. These will create additional
opportunities to connect, share ideas and simply enjoy each other’s company, both with cameras in hand and without. Building friendships and fostering a sense of community remains a key focus for the club.
I would also like to introduce your 2026 committee. We have a dedicated group of members who have generously volunteered their time and energy to support the club and its members. They bring a mix of experience, enthusiasm and fresh ideas, and I am very much looking forward to working with them in the year ahead to not only implement the 2026 programme but attract new members.

If you’ve opened a paper or scrolled through the news in the last twenty years, you’ve likely stopped to admire his work.
His accolades include multiple Walkley Award nominations and wins at the NSW Press Photographer of the Year awards, which is a testament to his technical skill and his eye for a powerful frame.
